The pressure tank is used in the closed water circulation system to balance the water volume and pressure, avoiding frequent opening of the safety valve and frequent filling of the automatic water refill valve. The expansion tank can also fill the water tank. The expansion tank is filled with nitrogen and can hold the expansion water with a larger volume. The high and low- pressure expansion tank can use its own pressure to supplement water to the pressure stabilizing system in parallel. The control of each point of the device is interlock reaction, automatic operation, small range of pressure fluctuation, safe and reliable, energy saving and good economic effect. 

Operating Principle

The pressure tank is usually installed between the distribution pump and the pipe network. After the pump starts, water is supplied to the pipe network, and the surplus water is stored in the tank, and the water level in the tank rises. The air in the tank is compressed, and the pressure increases accordingly. When the pressure in the tank reaches the specified upper limit pressure value, the indicator of the electric contact pressure gauge connected by the pipe and the tank top is connected to the upper limit contact, sending out signals, cutting off the power supply and stopping the pump. When the user continues to use water, the compressed air in the tank pushes the water into the pipe network. The water level drops and the air pressure in the tank drops. When the pressure falls to the required lower pressure value, the indicators of the electric contact pressure gauge shall be connected to the lower limit contact, the action of relay, the motor shall be connected to the power supply, and the pump shall start again. Under normal circumstances, the pump can work without any control, and it can adjust the pump start and stop times and working time by itself according to the change of water consumption to ensure continuous water supply to the pipe network.
